Be better prepared for any emergency with Survive:PDX, an app to help you prepare for, react to and recover from disaster that might hit Portland. Current features include:
- ONE BUTTON BROADCAST. Send SMS messages and emails to all your closest friends and family at once, telling them youre okay or in need of help. Frees you to deal with other immediate emergencies and reduces load on telecommunications infrastructure.
- SURVIVAL KIT Organizer. Helps you build disaster survival kits, keep track of whats in them and how to find them again, even without active internet service.
- RALLY POINT Organizer. Workout pre-designated meeting points with family in the event your home becomes unreachable, then find them again with our rally point map or compass function.
- POLICE SCANNER feed. Select from a number of different public scanner trunks to hear what emergency services are currently tackling.
- FLASHLIGHT. Like many others but with a built-in SOS pattern burst and morse-code cheat sheet.
- CITY SERVICES MAP. Contains addresses of Portland Hospitals and Fire Stations.
- Pre-populated web-links to other useful city and regional services.
